Thanks for stopping by our site!
We are a volunteer fire department located in Tennessee Colony, Texas in Anderson County. TCVFD was established in 1976 by people in the community who saw a need to help their community during emergencies.
We still have the same desire and drive to support and help our community today. We are always training and learning new techniques that improve our response capabilities. We have trained in things like incident command, structure fires, Wildland firefighting, extrication, search and rescue, vehicle accidents, and much more. We train with our local facilities in our area for emergency response as well.
We are always looking and needing volunteers in our community to join our small group of fire personnel. There are numerous jobs or tasks that anyone who would like to join can perform or assist with on scene.
If interested in volunteering to help our community, come join us. Meetings are as follows:
2nd Tuesday of the month at the VFD station (on Spur 324) at 6pm
4th Tuesday of the month at 7pm –Community Center (located at the 5-way) during the months of Sept.-May and at VFD station (on Spur 324) for the months of June-August
